As entrepreneurs and business owners it is easy to get mentally tired. It is important to recognize when that happens. It's OK to take some time to yourself in recharge your batteries. It's actually harmful to the business to keep working when you are mentally fried. From personal experience, I know it is too easy to make costly mistakes and it causes frustration when you need a break.

How do you shut down for the day? What do you do when you need a break?

There are a few things that I like to do but a good one is watching dtubers and hitting that upvote button!!!

Definitely good to have a hobby on the side or just zone out and recover.

Personally, I'll chill on the couch with the fiance and pup and read/watch a movie, play video games or make some art. Important to revive the fried brain.

Hey bro! Every once in awhile I'll play a little Call Of Duty or MLB om XBOX. But tonight, its TV on the couch!

Good stuff @ray4u. I do think it is good just to totally take your mind off business at some point during the day.

I know when I take breaks during the day here at home I come here at Steemit to read and do some commenting and check out new blogs.

It really is not work at all. And you get paid as a byproduct. Not bad !!.

Dude, you are so much more handy than I am.

I don't think I ever shut down. I'm not saying that's a great thing necessarily, but for example today (Sunday) I hit the gym and then the beach... while at the beach, floating in the water, I was thinking about content + marketing strategies for my consulting business.

I think the closest I've been coming is that lately at the end of the night I'll eat a late dinner on the couch, and then sorta head to bed as I start to drift off. But most days I eat dinner at my desk

I think shutting down might look different for everyone. You are a beast though!!!!!! Hitting the gym.....maybe that's your version?
I hear you on the eating dinner at the desk. Sometimes I forget to eat and I lay in bed at 11pm and I start getting hungry. I hate when that happens haha!

I hear ya!! It's tough to turn it off and relax. There is often too many things that need to get done!
