The journey towards discovering your strength begins when you don't give up despite the storms of life; the stillness of life never shows your strength. When the winds of stress blow, instead of burning out like the burning matchstick; just become stronger, then burst into flames like the hot coal. Remember: Never give up in the midst of the storms of life; the calmest seas never produced the best sailors.

You cannot correct or overcome that which you are unwilling to confront. Brain-storm on the way out of the situation rather than blame-storm on why or how it came. There's no peace in denying and trying to escape the problem; you find peace and true healing only in courageously confronting the problem that had traumatized you. When life puts you in certain precarious situations as it sometimes will, say "Try me" and bold-facedly confront the situation rather than saying "Why me". Remember: It is that light which wholly confronted the darkness that caused it to disappear into oblivion.
