DANCE TO MY TUNE

Most times the people around us tend to try imposing some kind of belief and mentality on us, and if you fall for their ploy then you are into it.

I call this method dance to my tune. A lot of people are not purpose driven but they are driven by the words of others. Examples of them are; what will people say about the dress I am putting on, what will they say about the kind of job I am doing, is my spouse the kind of person that will suit the people's appetite, is my behaviour in conformity with that of my friends or people around me. We seem to forget we are the architect of our own life.

When I see the relationship of most celebrity and some so-called elite, most of them ain't getting married for the sake of what they want but for creating that perfect picture the society has imposed on them. They look photo compatible but the heart is bleeding.

Most people are in the wrong job or career because they are trying to be that perfect person the people around them want them to be, they neglect their passion and purpose and keep struggling forever. If you can't follow your passion then you will be following the fashion. Keep dancing to the tune and keep bleeding inside.

I don't expect ten persons to have similar characteristics, we human ain't soldier ant. The convention should be respected but not become imposed as a way every person must trend, pragmatism brings about innovations and inventions. Never allow your society or persons around you dictate your pattern of living and reasoning.

Be your driver, know your purpose. Humans are insatiable, you can't please them. Most people who influenced their world broke out of conventions and norms, you might be the next biggest thing the world is waiting for.
