To your point, money isnt everything, I agree. But it sure as hell helps! What if your passion is traveling, or spending time with your family? You need money for that! Sure there are options of traveling cheaply, but come on it would make you so much happier if you could travel exactly how you like. If family time is important finances come into play too. Its easy to say find a good 9-5 job and have a balanced life. But the truth is you want the best for your family always. You want to send your kids to the best school, buy your wife the best clothes. Financial wealth is absolutely needed to enjoy your family. Otherwise you feel like you are letting the family down.

So again, not that financial wealth is all that matters, but lets not downplay it; It is important.
