This post is a continuation of what was stated in the first post. You can check it Here.

In the first post, I made mention of 3 ways to curb procrastination and this part is a completion of how it can be stopped.

Apply the law of three

Three core tasks if performed can contain the value you can contribute to your business or organization. The ability to accurately identify these tasks and focus on them, often lead to an outstanding performance and they are"Do what you can, With what you have and Where you are ".

Prepare bodaciously before you begin

One way to curb procrastination and get things done faster is to have everything you need beforehand. When fully prepared, you're like an archer with an arrow pulled back taut in the bow. This way, you develop courage and behave accordingly.

One step at a time

Little drops of water they say makes a mighty ocean, as well as a journey of a thousand years, begins with a step. What this implies is that you focus on a single action that you can take. People with moderate powers will accomplish much if they apply themselves wholly to one thing at a time.

Upgrade your skills

This is a personal productivity principle. Learn what is relevant or necessary to enhance your work in a distinguishing fashion. The only certain means of success is to give better and quality service that is expected no matter what the task may be. Never stop learning, one piece of information or one additional skill can make an enormous difference in your ability to do the job excellently.

Identify a major constraint

There is a major constraint between where you are today and any goal/objective that you intend to accomplish. This constraint should be identified, know that limitation then concentrate your thoughts on the task at hand.

Motivate/mount pressure on yourself

This implies not waiting for someone to come around and do your task for you, motivate yourself, pressurize yourself, raise the bar on yourself, see yourself as a role model for others. The standards you set for your own work and behavior should be higher than anyone else could set for you.

Bits and pieces

This simply means that you should slice and dice the task. One major reason for procrastination is that the tasks appear really large and formidable when it is first approached. Divide the tasks into segments, attend to them gradually and procrastination will be a thing of the past.

There's never a right time

Do not wait, the time will never be just right, start from where you stand and work with what you have. Launch quickly towards those goals and visions, work smoothly, steadily and continuously because the outcome will be mind-blowing.

With these few points, if properly applied with dedication I believe procrastination will be a thing of the past for someone... So, help a person get closer to his or her dream today by telling them how to layoff procrastination...
