Ama Yangri Peak

Location

Ama Yangri Peak is located in the Helambu region of the Sindhupalchok district, about 90 kilometers north of Kathmandu Valley. It's one of the highest peaks around Kathmandu Valley.

Altitude

Ama Yangri Peak is situated at an altitude of 3,771 meters (12,467 feet).

Hike Time

The hike to Ama Yangri Peak from Tarke Gyang takes about 2.5 hours. Some sources suggest that the total ascent can take up to 4 hoursor even 6 hours.

Views

On a clear day, the Ama Yangri viewpoint provides an excellent view of the Manaslu, Annapurna, Langtang, and even Everest ranges[^6^][9]. The peak offers a wide range of panoramic views.
