Thanks! Actually I didn't really have the mountaineering bug back then. After that first attempt I went back to London and then spent a couple of years travelling round the world. When I came back, I moved back to Scotland and started occasionally climbing mountains. I didn't get really passionate about it until I joined Meetup, partly because I had no one to climb with and I didn't always feel safe climbing on my own.
