The teaser of 2.0 is likely on September 13 as a part of Vinayaka Chathurthi celebrations
Director Shankar's ambitious film 2.0 is one of the most anticipated films of 2.0.
Produced by Lyca Productions, the film is being made at a whopping budget of Rs 450 crore. The sci-fi film stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.
According to reports, the teaser of 2.0 is likely to release on September 13 as a part of Vinayaka Chathurthi celebrations. It is said that director Shankar and editor Antony have already finalised the teaser.
Lyca Productions is expected to make an announcement on the teaser release date, according to sources. Recently, the making of Endhira Logathu Sundariye was aired on a television channel and it had grandeur stamped all over it.
2.0 is a sequel to director Shankar's Endhiran which released in 2013. At the audio launch of 2.0 held in Dubai, Shankar said, "2.0 story is not a continuation to Endhiran but deals with a new premise. It also imparts a global message."
After being postponed multiple times, 2.0 will finally hit the theatres on November 29, 2018. AR Rahman's music has already become a hit among the audience.
