My Review

As with all of my reviews I will not go into the plot

Ocean's 8 is the fourth movie in the series. It was a fun movie with a great cast and a fun score that was reminiscent of the first movie. It followed the same structure as the first one which made it familiar.

The problem with the film is the heist. It felt way too contrived and lacked the tension of the heist in the first film.

My big problem with the film was what they stole. In the other films they took money from people that you loved to hate. In Ocean's 8, however, they went after jewels, but not just raw jewels, but art. What they did with the jewels made the thieves very unsympathetic to me.

The other thing I didn't like was the revenge aspect. The revenge aspect was poorly conceived, and too much time was spent on it where it would have been better served setting up the heist better.
