What to watch this winter 'Carice van Houten'

Now that winter has arrived and we can enjoy several TV series and movies on the couch, we can shamelessly start the binge watching season.
While the abundance of streaming sites makes it difficult for us to determine our choice, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that there are many Dutch-language films on the streaming site netflix.
So I came across a few films in which Carice van Houten has an acting role that I had not seen yet. Most of us will know Carice van Houten through her role in Game of Thrones where she plays the role of Melisandre, but she has a lot of films on her list.

Carice Anouk van Houten was born on 5 September 1976 in the Dutch province of South Holland.in the village Leiderdorp, and was born as daughter of the Dutch-Scottish Theodore van Houten and Carice Irene and was named after the daughter of the British composer Edward Elgar
Together with her 2 year younger sister Jelka van Houten she grew up together with art and culture.
At the age of 5, the brash youth of Carice van Houten was canceled by divorcing her parents, her mother remarried but also this marriage ran a part when Carice van Houten was 17 years old, this fracture remained an emotional moment for her and made some impression on her life.

Already in her childhood, Carice van Houten was convinced she wanted to become an actress, as she already played in 1993 the title role in Tijl Uilenspiegel, a play by the widely praised Hugo Claus, at the St. Bonifatius College in Utrecht.
She graduated in June 2000 at the Kleinkunstacademie in Amsterdam.

Already during her training she was discovered by director Hans Kemna so she got a role in the 13-part TV series Het Labyrint in which she played the role of Marieke.
The definitive breakthrough for actress, however, came through her role in the film Suzy Q in the year 1999 and provided the actress a Golden Calf and was followed by a Pisuisse prize
