Boyhood (2014) by Richard Linklater (REVIEW)
This movie can show you how the usual normal life of someone can be so interested and spectacular in the eyes of another one. I found out that the movie was directed for 12 years which is something incredible, you can see how the characters in the movie are getting older while those 12 years are passing by and that will make this movie to be a very good artwork.
We must give a huge credit to Richard Linklater, the director of this movie for his patience about this remarkable movie.
The main roles are fitting well in the movie, nice acting from Ellar Coltrane (Mason) and Patricia Arquette (Mason’s mom). It takes huge effort to try not forget your role after 12 years.
I would suggest that you do not get discouraged about the length of the movie, it shows a very sensitive story that you will like, perfect family drama.
The movie plot is about the growing up of two children by a single mother while the life challenges her on so many things, movie about the parental responsibility towards their kids. Even though the movie is not only about the two children that grow up, the movie also focus on the parents as they grow older.
