Trailer Review - Bodyguard 2018

No this is not the one you are thinking of with Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.
I need to confess, there has not been any British TV dramas that have been great off the top of my head. The only other one I can think of was Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, which was just an amazing show. This was one of those shows I saw and just because it was a British made series I completely just gave it a pass, until a friend told me that this was edge of you seat kind of series. So I gave it a go and I was more than pleasantly surprised, this is well worth watching and a great series.
The story is basically about a bodyguard who gets assigned to a populist, maybe a little right leaning politician, that the general population are not too keen on. This takes a very realistic look at the political climate both in Britain with topics like Brexit currently happening and as well as what's happening in the United States with Trump.
I'm about four or five episodes in and it's been a great story so far, great character development and very entertaining. If you are into the cloak and dagger kind of political conspiracies, you should most definitely give this a go.

I saw this on my recommendation freed because well Netflix doesn't care about real personalisation they just want you to watch Netflix originals and saving private ryan, thats it lol
It doesn't sound too bad I'll give hte first 3 eps a go and see how i feel after that, british shows can go either way. I love me some Sherlock and Peaky Blinders oh and Taboo!

Pretty good for a British drama, although I generally prefer their comedy. Of course, you can find your own comedy when you are an 'Merican watching British drama. I though I was going to choke when they said the threat level had been raised from "moderate to substantial".
"I say dear, did you hear that? The threat level has been raised to substantial. Oh my. Tea dear?" British people, am I right?
If you are a subject of her Majesty know that I am just kidding around. 'Merica has plenty to make fun of. I guess I did not have to add the disclaimer. What happens if I piss off a bunch of Brits? They might hall off and give me the dirties look I have ever had.
