Not That Teen

I can't actually believe I have not reviewed the TV series yet, so luckily you get a double does of super heros trailers this week.

Titans is a live adaptation of the comic books as well has a few different animated versions of the DC side kicks. Somehow most of the main DC super heroes have sidekick, like Batman who has Robin and the Flash has Kid Flash, these younger super heroes in training make up a kind junior Justice League.

The first season of Titans aired at the end of last year and you can find it on Netflix, and I thought it was pretty awesome. Titans is nothing like the shows on the CW you might have seen, namely The Arrow, The Flash or Supergirl, which was made for more of the family and a younger audience. Think of this as sort of a Game of Thrones meets DC, and I'm pretty sure it has a PG16 rating, which does make for far better and more realistic action scenes. Actually a better comparison would be similar to Deadpool but without the comedy and constantly breaking the fourth wall, and I prefer the serious approach to it, feels a little bit like Watchmen.

Season two will be airing in less than a month, and I'm more shocked than anything else about just how fast time flies, it fees like I watched this a month or two ago. The trailer revealed some awesome new characters that will being joining in, like Superboy, and Krypto the superdog and a few new bad guys. It's well worth the watch if you are into fantasy and everything super hero related.

Titans season 2 gets a hopeful rating of 8.5/10
