Movie Review - The first part of The Hunger Games series cover was boring. Not much action, just full of political propaganda.

Mockingjay is the latest installation of The Hunger Games trilogy. And like most adaptation films of teen novels today where the last movie is usually split in two, Mockingjay also so (duh!)

The story begins when Katniss wakes up after escaping from the Hunger Games for the second time. He awakens in district 13, the secret base of the rebel forces. Here Katniss was crowned freedom fighter, the Mockingjay. Meanwhile, the Capitol, who began to worry about alan seeds of resistance, took anarchist action to suppress the rebels. In fact, Peeta Mellark is still alive, used as a propaganda tool.

This movie is much bleaker than the first movie and both. The story is darker and his political atmosphere is overwhelming. The districts began to rebel and wanted to be free. Then began a guerrilla war against the government. Very actual, where people began to unite to overthrow the despotic government. Great, The Hunger Games movie finally began to fit the novel that is more focused to politics and rebellion instead of survival game. (Few recommendations, if more interested in survival game, you better try the movie Takashi Miike, Battle Royale).

Jennifer Lawrence's acting as Katniss Everdeen is quite charming (as usual). So do other supporting actors like Woody Harrelson and Philip Seymour Hoffman. It's just that this qualified acting can not cover the movie plot that contains less. It was obvious that the impact of the Mockingjay novel was divided into two films. Almost no significant situation changes in this movie. If it's a spoiler, it's just about government propaganda advertising vs. rebel propaganda. Point. Do not expect too much.
