Jurassic Park

How have I not reviewed Jurassic Park yet? Anyway, Jurassic Park is a classic. It’s one of those movies in which I could watch and time. For some reason I forgot about it when making my top ten favorite movies, and it replaces The Thing. That’s besides the point. Jurassic Park is a landmark for CGI. The CGI is amazing, especially considering it was made in 1993, and set the standards for future films. The practical effects are also great. The CGI and practical effects are blended perfectly, and it still looks great today. The acting is also great. Sam Neill is awesome and his character arc is satisfying. I think most would agree, Jeff Goldblum is phenomenal. Ian Malcom is iconic and hilarious. His attitude towards some of their situations cracks me up. And I must say, Nedry was before his time. How could I forgot Samuel L. Jackson’s legendary 5 minute performance, too. The action scenes are extremely entertaining and intense. I can’t help but to feel nervous every time the velociraptor-kitchen scene comes up. The best part about the whole movie is that it includes plenty of action and great dinosaur sequences, but also gives characters I can invest in and a great plot. I forgot to mention that the themes and scores are amazing. Overall, Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies and I give it a 10/10.

Saya tidak bisa tidak merasa gugup setiap kali adegan dapur-velociraptor muncul. Bagian terbaik dari keseluruhan film adalah film ini memuat banyak aksi dan rangkaian dinosaurus yang hebat, tetapi juga memberikan karakter yang dapat saya investasikan dan plot yang bagus.
