IT

IT is just an okay movie. It’s nostalgic for me because I used to watch It all the time when I was younger. It scared the heck out of me, but I loved it. After seeing it recently, I realized that It didn’t age well. The special affects are dated, and the music and sound affects are kind of cheesy. For the most part, this young Loser Club has some good performances, and Tim Curry is iconic as Pennywise the Clown. The other part of the movie, when the Losers Club is all grown up, is not nearly is good as the first part. The second half is way more boring, and it doesn’t seem as scary. Not that this movie is really the scariest movie I’ve ever seen, but the first half is creepier. The ending is kind of awful, when Pennywise turns into a giant spider-like alien creature. That was just dumb, but I have read theories that explains it. Some scenes may be described as “whack,” which one of my friends called it. I definitely think the remake is way better, but I do have an unconditional love of this movie. Overall, It is very nostalgic for me and I give it a 6/10.

IT, hanya film yang bagus. Itu bernostalgia untuk saya karena saya biasa menontonnya sepanjang waktu ketika saya masih muda. Itu membuat saya takut, tetapi saya menyukainya. Setelah melihatnya baru-baru ini, saya menyadari bahwa itu tidak menua dengan baik. Pengaruh khusus tertanggal, dan musik serta bunyi mempengaruhi agak ganjil. Untuk sebagian besar, Loser Club muda ini memiliki beberapa pertunjukan yang bagus, dan Tim Curry ikonik sebagai Pennywise the Clown. Bagian lain dari film, ketika Losers Club sudah dewasa, hampir tidak sebagus bagian pertama. Babak kedua jauh lebih membosankan, dan itu tidak tampak menakutkan. Bukan berarti film ini benar-benar film paling menakutkan yang pernah saya tonton, tetapi babak pertama adalah yang paling menyeramkan. Akhir cerita agak mengerikan, ketika Pennywise berubah menjadi makhluk alien spider-seperti raksasa. Itu hanya bodoh, tetapi saya telah membaca teori yang menjelaskannya.
