Free Fire (2016) | Review, Filmkritik & Trailer (English/German)

Free Fire seems like a 90 minute stretch of an action scene of another movie.
It is as much a chamber play as it is a classic and extreme shootout.
The often seen "weapons deal goes wrong" turns here into hell on earth, or hell in a warehouse.
For sure you can imagine that the plot is not the strong point of "Free Fire", as there isn't really a greater plot.
The selling points are the crazy action, wich is well shoot and edited and the characters.
Not just that the characters seem loveable and believable, they are also played by a awesome cast.
It's a no-brainer and 90 minutes of guaranteed fun!

Free Fire wirkt wie eine Actionszene aus einem anderen Film, die man dann auf 90 Minuten gestreckt hat.
Es ist nicht nur ein klassisches und zugegeben extremes "shootout", sondern auch ein Kammerspiel.
Der oft gesehene "Waffendeal geht schief" wird hier sehr schnell zur Hölle auf Erden, oder Hölle im Lagerhaus.
Wie man sich vorstellen kann, ist die Handlung nicht gerade die Stärke von "Free Fire", da es einfach keine großartige Handlung gibt.
Hier geht es rein um die gut gefilmte und aufbereitete Action und die Charaktere.
Diese wirken irgendwie liebenswert und glaubwürdig und werden uns von einem hammer Cast dargestellt.
Es ist ein typischer Hirn-aus Film und 90 Minuten garantierter Spaß!
