Matthew Vaughn Reboot 'Kick-Ass' & Spin-Off 'Kingsman'
The filmmaker Matthew Vaughn seems to have big ambitions to expand Kick-Ass and Kingsman , as he plans to make sequels, spin-offs, reboots to television series for two franchises adapted from Mark Millar comics.
Talking to the Empire , Vaughn admits he is currently developing a Kick-Ass reboot with main character Patience Lee, an African-American single mother who acted as a vigilante. FYI, the first film Kick-Ass (2010) directed by Vaughn is considered to breathe fresh air against the superhero genre, thanks to his energetic but also brutal film approach. Unfortunately, Kick-Ass 2 who worked on Jeff Wadlow reap a response not so warm by Vaughn.
