It is always difficult to decide what movie should be chosen for nomination and win the Award, it is just human factor and while reading your review I noticed that the family conflicts and life situation was the main topic of them movie, I believe one or another juror may be found themselves or their relatives in the story, that is why in my opinion such movies would be potential candidate for the Award.
