Rape culture is when men are the victims.
In most countries and states the rape law is still gendered and only acknowledges men as rape perpetrators and/or only women as rape victims. What is telling however is that the women was not even charged with sexual assault. That one at least should be gender neutral all across western societies — including Montana.
Why then was she not charged with sexual assault? I already given then answer. Everything in the definition of #rapeculture only applies when men are victims.
- when men are victim rape is trivialized
- when men are victim rape is normalised
- when men are victims of rape they are blamed
- rape is denied to be widespread when men are victims
- the harm caused by rape is not acknowledged when men are victim
- when men are victim of rape law enforcement will refuse to investigate
None of that happens when women are the victims. At least not in western societies.

to be fair I only know one dude who was raped by women. It did mess him up though, if it is not a crime it should be. I think the theory has always been that if you weren't into it then you wouldn't get hard.
Your post is as true as words can be. It is alarming when you are abused by sexual predators as a man. It has compelled me to entirely take responsibility for what happens to me, insofar as I am able. Some things are beyond my control, and despite my best effort, I cannot avoid.
Then, sadly, I can expect no help.
