Mr.Robot 5/9 Attack in Real World? The Big Picture.

At the time Mr.Robot a TV series runs from USA channel was a big hit and gets multiple awards from actors to best director. This revolutionary type of series was showed us a different approach in videography and different type of storytelling but one thing caught my interest on this TV series besides of being bias because its story is evolve to a hacker story. It is because of how the hacking methods in this TV series happen, what I can say is the methods hacking are so practical. Let's dug it up.

Storyline.. .

5/9 Hack

The Five/Nine Hack was planned and carried out by fsociety in collaboration with Chinese Dark Army hackers was Mr.Robot planed. It takes place on May 9, 2015, the anniversary of Edward Alderson's (Mr.Robot) birth, thus its name. The hack was designed to de-stabilize the financial markets, destroy financial records, and re-distribute wealth in America. Its primary target was E Corp, one of the largest conglomerates in the world, with massive financial interests.

Prior to the hack, Tyrell Wellick became aware of Elliot and fsociety's activities and became involved to the Stage 2 of the attack.

The day after the hack, Elliot awakes in Wellick's SUV, realizing that he has lost three days. At the same time, Wellick's whereabouts are unknown, the FBI are investigating, and the economy is in tatters. Despite this, E Corp assures America that it cares via a series of commercials.

After the Attack

In the days following the hack, the American economy collapses. Wellick is soon identified as having committed the hack, and is being actively sought by the FBI, but it remains unclear whether he was actually involved. The President of the United States, Barack Obama, was quick to respond to the attack.

Consequences of the Attack

Fsociety believed that the 5/9 hack would redistribute wealth and benefit the average working person. Instead, it had a significant number of unanticipated consequences. One of the effect of the attacked was deleting the dept of many students that have problem paying their student loan and the power grid that supply electricity in the city shutdown in scheduled hour and the government applied curfew to the city.

What if the 5/9 Happened in real life?

If 5/9 Attack will happen right now one thing will really shine, the rich will going more richer. why? the 5/9 attack is focused in deleting the dept of the people which mean all the people. Let's think of it, people who have a large amount of dept are the people owned large company because they used it to their capital. People with dept from credit cards. The people on the lower part of the society will be get poorer because of abusing the facts that the company or people that enslaved them in tyranny will gained more power to having a clean dept records.

If you watch carefully how the establishments in the TV series are collecting their payment to their customer they are adopt the cryptocurrency. Elliot's have a good agenda to do the hack and a revenged to E-Corp but if it will happen to the real word maybe is not good idea. The poor get more poorer and the rich getting richer and adopting to new global technology in not prepared situation is a difficult situation.
