Before you can exploit the bots that will upvote your articles for you to help you as a minnow to get some popularity, you have to sign up. You can sign up by heading off to the #registration channel and writing $register yoursteemitname doing this will give you 2 notifications from 2 different bots: @banjo and @minnowsupport.

These bots will tell you to send 0.001 Steem to every one of them from your steemit wallet to confirm your identity with a particular memo message. To do this you should login to your steemit account and go to your wallet.

After that has been finished, come back to the registration chat and then type $register yoursteemitname again. You will then get two more notification from each one of the bots confirming that you have successfully signed up your steemit name and connected it to your chatroom username.

As you take part in the discussion in the group you may see that you or another person you know LEVELS UP! The higher the level you or another person is, the longer they have been on the network, or more they contribute.

User Type

There are multiple different types of users on PAL and they rank pretty much in this order:

  • Witnesses
  • Whales & Dolphins - Non Members
  • Greeter
  • Member
  • Registered
  • Online

Generally, they are ranked in view of the amount they are offering back to PAL and Steemit and ought to basically be regarded in a specific order also. See a Witness getting fire from an online client? In the event that you should pick sides, it's normally more preferable to pick the Witness. Every one of these users have different responsibilities, from giving steem and delegating steem power, to helping newcomers get everything set, to giving piece of their voting power, to simply being in the discussion.

Rules and Conduct

It is for the good of all for us to have an acceptable behavior in the PAL server, yet here are only a couple of reminders for those that are bit thick and should be told particularly:

  • Try not to post your articles to be promoted in the wrong channel, it is irritating to everyone, taking a look at it as spam, and you may very well get flagged as a result of it. You would prefer not to be flagged.

  • Respect every individuals in the group. Obviously there will be individuals that troll, and others that simply loathe each other on a sub-atomic level. Endeavor to avoid any conduct that will cause a scene, this is a group intended to inspire the Steemit people group, we're not in highschool.
