We all know an artist who has no great audience despite their music being great, this is because of the challenges they have to face to market their music, they include middlemen who have commercialized the industry for their own benefits, commercialized entertainment airwaves where they have to pay for their music to be heard, upcoming and underground artists face financial constraints and breaking the barriers to entry into the music industry is based on who you know and how much money you are willing to spend. This is a challenge to the artists and also a disappointment to music fans.

The growth of technology and the internet has allowed underground and indie artists stream their music to millions of followers on the globe, this fan have been able to hear their music and support them through attending concerts and buying their music though online platforms. The rise of technology has empowered creative artist without records deal to have an income that allows them to continue creating music, talented artist have been able to support themselves, create great music and inspire millions of fans across the globe.

With the high monopolization and commercialization of the entertainment industry, artists have been having a hard time getting their creative art discovered, the rise of the internet and technology has empowered the artists to be independent and work on break the scene themselves.

Over the past few years, we have seen technological advancement through blockchain technology that is improving the entertainment scene through provision of tools and platforms where artists can showcase their music, one of the projects promoting independent artists include MTFU that is working on decentralizing the entertainment industry through breaking the barrier for this artist, the barriers include signing record deals, getting airplay and releasing music.

Almost all music fans are currently streaming their music online and MTFU is decentralizing the industry by allowing the artists have a platform that is made for them, through the rise of platforms such as MTFU the industry will witness a great deal of artists accrediting their success to streaming through decentralized platforms.

The urban scene has an abhorrence for authority and a belligerence for the mainstream. Its counterculture lyricism, aggressive rhythms and ability to articulate social issues means it has proven difficult to amass more traditional and commercial support. This, however, has led to collaborations, the rise of independent labels and media, as well as internal support from other artists.

MTFU is a decentralized platform that empowers underground and independent artists breaking the barriers they face that include getting airplays, signing records deals and commercial support. IN order to make this happen MTFU has tokenized its economy to be able to tap decentralized talents all over the globe, through the decentralization aspect the tokens will be used to support artists globally through a transparent and fair system secured by blockchain technology. MTFU represents a dual token economy that is meant for Radio and to support Mainstream and Independent artists.

MTFU has tokenized its economy through dual mode to be able to support the artists and also give them a medium where they can get airplay for their creativity work. Tokenization will allow music and to support their favorite music, the tokens will allow the artists to market their music engage their fans in a relationship that is mutual for both parties. Music fans will be able to curate the entertainment scene eliminating the need of third-party organizations such as music record labels that have commercialized the music scene.

MTFU are still in their early stages of development and we will see more tokens ability aimed and making the entertainment scene decentralized and artists having a platform to support their work, MTFU is a platform that is dedicated on promoting underground artists and shape the future of the entertainment industry.

MTFU has a brand-new website https://www.mftu.net where artists will be able to upload their music in an environment that doesn’t discriminate and the process is fair and transparent, artist will be able to earn rewards for their creativity and the platform aims to distribute revenue generated to all registered artists automatically. With the adoption of the platform the value of the rewards will increase over time due to the scalability ability of blockchain technology used on the platform.

Conclusions.

Artists are now aware of the challenges they face to get their music to be heard, through this they have formed groups that support each other, collaborations, independent records that support artists and internal supports between industry participants, its time for the community to join hands and support the artists through curating their music and giving them a platform where we can be able to build a relationship to the artists we love. MTFU is a platforming that empowers us and the artists in a decentralized environment that is secure and transparent allowing the community to join hands and make the entertainment industry great again.
