Mushrooms
Mushrooms are a type of fungus. Mushrooms are used as food in many countries of the world including China, Korea, America and Europe. There are different types of mushrooms in the world. However, very few of them are eatable.
The edible mushrooms are: Chanterelles, Whites, Crimean, Portobello, Shitek, Mitechhen-of-the-Woods, Inoki, Coral fungi, Oysters, Cup fungi, Button mushrooms, Polypores, Puffballs etc.
Mushrooms are a nutritious food. Mushrooms contain vitamins, minerals, sugars, protein and a small amount of fat. Lots of mushrooms are used in Chinese, Korean and Japanese cuisine. In addition, various mushroom recipes are used in famous hotels and restaurants around the world.
