Every Body Wants To Rule The World, Tears For Fears, Part Of The BBC Black Listed Song's List.

I could not think of a more appropriate song and title to sum up the state of the world and its leaders at this present time if i tried? maybe some of you can? please leave a comment if so?

Released in 1985 the song is performed with a shuffle beat and was originally titled "everybody wants to go to war" but the band thought that was a little lack luster, the track was a last minute entry to their album "songs from the big chair" i must admit the rythm to it feels rather jolly but some how it works and worked.

Put on the BBC black list regarded inappropriate for air play during the gulf war with all the rest, i remember it all so very well, hearing it day after day blasting out from those ghetto blaster radio's all over building sites i used to work on in the mid 80's you know? back when we used to build and make things in the uk, its a great catchy tune, and i feel it is very relevant today, enjoy :)
