I think this is the key to his success in the song "Fake Monk" (假行僧) - that his audience knows they have to let him take them places. When I first heard this song I thought his rock voice a bit thin - though asian singing is often like that in general. I loved his tone right at the start of the song. Certainly an amazing performance, thanks for reminding me of it.
