Art Blakey - Live at Birdland

@stavrin is really one of the best musician on Steemit. Adapting Art Blakey's music to a clean guitar sound is probably one of the most difficult thing to do. I tried to for years to apply those bee bop phrases to guitar, and I've never found enough hours in a day to master it, I need to emphasize on this. I am a finger-style player, so this type of velocity is impossible to achieve for me, and I am finally at peace with it.
When newcomers arrive on Steemit and wonder if there's music here, I would love them to bump into @stavrin at first, just to show them that we mean business.

This track is just out of this world!! Perfect trip hop blend, the bass is so groovy, which is a trademark of @psionic-tremors . It balances out elegantly with the delightful vocals and prod.

Really cool cover of The Doors's song, interesting vocals, the folk interpretation really brings something different to the table

Nightmares

Some spooky tracks, "It's Time To Halloween" have some great choir samples, that sounds perfect for setting the tone. I can easily imagine these tracks in a movie like Friday the 13 or something even darker.

Theatre Of Delays - Zeitlupe

Really different from what @theatreofdelays normally create, I really feel that is was a really personal story told, and it's really amazing how the time stretches in between the bars.
