SONG OF THE DAY - "Background" - Lecrae (feat. Andy Mineo) (116)

Since this is the 116th Song of the Day, I couldn't help myself from posting a song from one of the members of the 116-clique. And it just so happens to be one of my favourite songs from them (surprise surprise).

Though this isn't exactly the typical rap song you'd expect from Lecrae, it's a powerful song that shows his heart in a clear, raw manner. It's not a new song either, coming out early in Lecrae's career (2010), and features one of the other members of the 116-clique, Andy Mineo. The song essentially details how we should take the background role, with the focus being on God and not ourselves so that God can work effectively through us without us taking the spotlight. I've loved this song for years, and thought that it only makes sense to share it with all of y'all. So listen below:
