SONG OF THE DAY - "joy." - for KING & COUNTRY (83)

The duo has FINALLY released some new music. Since this just happened after years of them not releasing anything new, I obviously had to bring them in for a Song of the Day. The song is fairly self-explanatory, taking a look at our joy-depraved world, realizing that we (Christians) need to bring true joy back into the world by sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. The only thing I'm hoping with this song is that it's signalling a new album soon. A new single from them is great, but the last full-length album the band released was all the way back in 2015, titled "Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong." Though that album is easily one of the best Christian music albums ever recorded in my humble opinion (also one of the main reasons they've risen to stardom in the Christian music industry), no active artist should take 3-4 years to come out with a new album (again, my opinion). So, let's hope that this a sign of new things to come, but in the meantime give 'joy.' a listen now!

Also, the official music video isn't out on YouTube yet, but it's on Apple Music, iTunes, and potentially Facebook. And they put a ton of effort into this music video, and you really should take the time to go find the actual one since it's totally worth it. I'm usually not a fan of music videos, but for KING & COUNTRY always nails theirs. So I'm begging you, please go watch the real one.
