I was in band for seven years in high school. I wasn't anywhere near the best in my section, but some of the best memories I have are from those times. It wasn't the most popular thing to do back then and even now I still get made fun of a little when people come across the old photos. It really was a great experience though. I occasionally find myself missing it.
