Steemit Music League Review Round #9 Review | DSound Community Initiative

With seventy (70) incredible entries it was an incredible round in the nine (9) contests and challenges of the Steemit Music League.

The Steemit Music League is a community built with the goal of providing the most feedback, recognition, and rewards all while bringing Steemians together and encouraging collaboration.

As a result the Steemit Music League and the decentralized audio portal @dsound have joined forces to help bring maximum recognition, feedback , and rewards for the Steemians with musical dreams, passions, and talents.

	Steemit Music League Challenge (#smlchallenge) (Hosted by @chiefmappster): An open music contest for rappers, MCs, singers, vocalists, musicians, and producers.
	Beat Battle League (#beatbattle) (Hosted by @chiefmappster): A challenge for music producers to produce an entry based off a theme or sampled material for that round.
	SMA Feedback Contest (#smafeedback) (Hosted by @inthenow): A feedback-based contest for music. Provide music for feedback and/or provide feedback and get rewarded for doing so.
	Chord Challenge (#chordchallenge) (Hosted by @antminer): A weekly challenge for music producers to create music by using the provided chord progression.
	Kill The Pad Challenge (#killthepad) (Hosted by @jamesgetsit): A weekly topic text-based rap competition for creative writers to show their prowess as a lyricist.
	Educator Showdown (Hosted by @novili): A bi-weekly competition for people who make educational content revolving around music.
	Poetry Slam (#poetryslam) (Hosted by @jamesgetsit & @scuzzy): A weekly spoken word contest in the traditional poetry slam competition format.
	Pitch Perfect (#pitchperfect) (Hosted by @alejandra23): A weekly challenge for original music creators.
	Bands About Bands (#BandsAboutBands) (Hosted by @ftlob): A weekly music review contest covering bands and musicians on Steemit.

The winner of the Steemit Music League is determined by the amount of points earned through League contests and challenges.

The points earned in Round Nine are added up for this seventh release of the Steemit Music League leaderboard for Season Two.

We have had one hundred sixty-one (161) different Steemians apart of the Steemit Music League in the nine rounds so far. We thank you all for making such an amazing impact on the community.

Below are the updated standings of the Steemit Music League Season #2 as of today

@hilladigahackles and @mindseye-music are battling for third place with only 25 points separating them respectively.

@d-vine and @paradigmprospect are carving up a nice lead in their respective positions. Several rounds left so anything is possible especially with @d-vine and @paradigmprospect participating in more than one SML contest.

We also have @onemedia and @nathankaye in a tie for 5th place. Who will make that jump into sole ownership of 5th place only 42 points behind 4th place?

@breezin jumped into the Top Ten taking 9th place with his epic writing abilities in the Kill the Pad Challenge

As you can see we have a lot of Steemians participating in more than one contest increasing their League point total.

With 161+ Steemians already taking part in the Steemit Music League, this is shaping up to be one awesome Season Two of the Steemit Music League o weeeee.

The Steemit Music League Challenge is an open music contest for rappers, MCs, singers, vocalists, and producers. Basically if you have a passion for music you can submit an entry every round.

Each round's theme changes to include as many from the Steemit Universe as possible. The prize pool is 15 STEEM and other cryptocurrencies such as SMOKE, Whaleshares, and Voiceshares.

The #smlchallenge is in Round Ten of Season Two currently with the theme being Music of Summer.

Round Ten of Season Two of the Steemit Music League Challenge is accepting submissions until Wednesday night, May 16th with the results being announced on May 17th.

The Beat Battle League is in Round #10 of Season Two and is a Beat Battle challenge that the music producers of Steemit can produce an entry based off a theme or sampled material for that round.

The third contest is the Steemit Music Alliance Feedback contest hosted by @inthenow .

The SMA Feedback Contest hosted by @inthenow is about submitting music and providing feedback and getting rewarded to do so.

The prize pool is 20 SBD and other cryptocurrencies like Whaleshares and Voiceshares.
