Welcome to another Heavy Metal Weekend! Today I have some classics for you, so be prepared for some extra headbanging!
Iron Maiden - Afraid to Shoot Strangers
Out of their album Fear of the Dark, this Political/Anti-war song has been played live over 400 times!
Judas Priest - The Hellion/Electric Eye
This one comes from Screaming for Vengeance. It's the only song I'm getting mad when it is played on the radio, as they usually skip "The Hellion" which is the intro. Don't do that, it's like playing Painkiller and you skip the drum solo intro.
Savatage - Dead Winter Dead
The title track of the album Dead Winter Dead, which marked the return of guitarist Chris Caffery and the second studio album after the death of their original guitarist Criss Oliva.
Honorable Mention
Blind Guardian - Noldor (Dead winter reigns)
I'm not a fan of Blind Guardian. I like a couple of songs, I love Hansi Kürsch'es voice but that's about it. It probably has to do with all the Tolkien lyrics etc (yeap, I'm not a fan of Tolkien too). However, this song was probably one of the first metal songs that I ever heard and it has lef a mark.
