SLEEP - DRAGONAUT (VIDEO)
I love this band Sleep they sound like the old Black Sabbath. I first heard this song in the Harmony Korine movie Gummo and i was hooked. This is there song "Dragonaut" it's really heavy and bad ass. You gotta love a distorted bass with a wah pedal.
Scenes from the movie Gummo where they used the song "Dragonaut". In the movie they ride there bikes around looking for cats to kill with there BB guns. So they can sell the cats to oriental restaurants to support there habits huffing glue, gas, or anything they can get ahold of. It's kind of sad but a really good movie. If you haven't seen Gummo yet and you like very strange movies you have to watch it. One of my favorite weird movies. Hope you like the post thanks.
Great band! Yes, they're very influenced by Black Sabbath, dark sounds, Tony Iommi kinda riffs. Thanks for sharing it.
In a similar vein, I would like to recommend you the Norwegian band BRUTUS (not to confound with another Modern Rock Band also called Brutus). The singer sings like Ozzy himself.
He does sound like a young Ozzy. I will have to check out some of there other stuff Thanks.

Sleep is eternally tied to the movie gummo for me. And copious amounts of marijuana consumption, which I can not partake in sadly.
