Musical Friday the 13

in #music6 years ago

Mysticism and magic - this is what many people believe throughout life. The eerie moments that make us believe in supernatural phenomena, probably, everyone happened on the way by their lifes and I think not one. As for Friday the 13th - this day has always been shrouded in kinds of unpleasant stories and negative. People are afraid to go out into the street until the Saturday morning comes, someone hides under the blanket, someone watching horror films all night long.

We often met with friends on such days and went to rest in the woods, roasted shish kebabs, listened to the terrible music and had fun. In this day for me there is nothing special, but as to music I am not indifferent and I decided to post my selection of compositions that can tickle nerves or are wrapped up in special energy.

Ferencz Liszt – Totentanz

The classics knew how to bring terror, and the Hungarian pianist Ferencz Liszt, with his dance of death, was an excellent proof. When I listen Totentanz - the hair on my head rises on end.

Animal Alpha - Bundy

This Norwegian five musicians are able to do not only good music, but also atmospheric. A nice song about a serial maniac who went hunting.

Tool - The Grudge

Specific music, as they say, is not for every ear. Connoisseurs of the experimental genre like it.

Rob Zombie - Lords Of Salem

This man always scared me with his music. Maniacs, witches, vampires, werewolves, Jeepers Creeppers. Scary and cool.

Rob Zombie - House of a 1000 Corpses

The soundtrack to Rob Zombie's film The House of 1000 Corpses, written by him. What can be more frightening than the crazy family and their clown Captain Spaulding - I do not even know. This is good song and great movie.

The Kills - Superstition

I know little of the songs of this duet, but this one conquered my heart. The high-pitched voice of Alison Mosschart and the harsh guitar of James Hins set the tone. The composition is psychedelic, damn, but steep.

The Misfits – Shining

Punk horror for me is always in the topic. Misfits can listen to any mood. But, in spite of the enthusiasm in Shining, she's insanity like none of the musicians' repertoire.

The Misfits - Friday the 13th

This song I also like, but added it to the tracklist solely because of the title.

Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People

Well, there's nothing to say here. Manson has more than half of music and clips that are suitable for scare and disgust.

Marilyn Manson - Resident Evil Main Theme

Again I repeats with the performer. The soundtrack to the film "Resident Evil" from this group is something. Nothing can be worse than a deadly calm. After listening to this short tune it seems that this is the beginning of the end. Something really catastrophic and irreversible.

Type O 'Negative - Love You To Death

What can be more beautiful than love before death? A song about the slave of this beautiful feeling. Gloomy and sad enough, in my opinion.

Primus - Mr. Krinkle

The most incomprehensible song in this collection. I added it not only because of the music, but also the clip. This is a pig in the foreground and a whole circus performance on the background is a complete nonsense, really confusing.

Well, in the end, to relax the mood, I suggest listening to Michael Jackson. His thriller will always be on the topic on such days as Friday the 13th.
