'Anreagananarchism' - Original Music from My Old Band, The Steaks! Metal/Punk/Rock + Walkthrough!
This was one of the original recordings
we did with my old band, The Steaks, when our bassist Mike was originally playing drums, before Bill joined the band. We never actually played this song live, as we had changed the sound of the music so much before our first (and only) gig. This is definitely pretty straight-forward, typical metal (although the drums are a little weak, Mike was super rusty, haha). We eventually got a lot more experimental, and sort of played kind of "epic-math" metal, if that makes sense.

The other guitarist, Ben wrote
most of the main licks in this track, although I wrote all my own harmony parts. The break is when things get a little cheesy, using an E, G, Bb progression (all minor 3rds), which is sort of a played out metal trope, but that was kind of the joke, so we kept it in haha.
