When you just woke up in the morning, and heard this song, it's like it will pump up your mood. There's this effect in this song that you will look back at the good old days, something like nostalgic effect. Besides, it's tune is not difficult to listen to. Upon listening, it will end you up smiling.

Corinne Bailey Rae did great in this song which was her biggest hit ever. Even The Chipettes covered it at Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, a testament how radio-friendly the songs is. Sadly, Corrine did not produce real hit after that.

When someone tells you not to worry, it's a breather. We get stressed, we have lots of anxieties. When someone gives you assurance that everything will be okay, you won't feel you are alone. This can pertain to friends who are there to help you when in need.

Put Your Records On may be the 2nd single but it was the biggest hit by Corinne Bailey Rae, and was even a Grammy nominee. It may only peaked at #64 in America, but it was popular culturally, while it was a big #2 UK hit.
