Is Halsey the greatest songwriter of our time?

Halsey is a famous singer and songwriter who includes such depth in every song. She is a true artist and if you don't know about her look her up.

Every song she writes herself and is so young yet has so much experience to her life that every song is so different. Her songs aren't just fun beats they are story she wrote with experience and learning. At first I didn't realize her true craftsmanship of her words but then I watched a video of her explaining the music video to colors and it was so much more in depth than a regular love story.

Halsey wrote every song as if it were a novel. New Americana was a story of the new generation of people taking over and proving people wrong. Colors was a story of 4 people who all are in love but none of them are loved back, it is a square but the ends don't meet. All of her songs are attached by album to create one large story.

For Hopeless Fountain Kingdom she teased on twitter lyrics of her new songs and had fans connect them to Badlands songs .

In my opinion this is completely genius and I love it.
