Spirit in the Sky is a very catchy tune. Love it.
Norman Greenbaum actually qualifies for 2 "One Hit Wonders" which sounds like an oxymoron but... he was leader of a group that had a hit before Spirit in the Sky. It was a novelty song that didn't chart very high but was a lot of fun. I have to laugh at this - here goes:
