Hey guys! I am super excited to have you follow me here on Steemit! This is where I will posting TONS of music production resources, tips, tricks, and anything else I can find that will help my Udemy Students with their musical journeys! So here is my first post!

Getting The Quick Fix

I have met a lot of people who are wanting to record, mix and master songs, but many don't really want to learn the details behind the process. This is something that I have seen more and more over the years, people want a quick fix, but don't really want to take the time to learn how to do ANYTHING!

Sadly, as a music producer/musician I see this all the time. If you truly want to do something, you should be MORE than willing to go the extra mile in order to excel at whatever it is that you want to do. This is why my courses on Udemy, are so detailed. If you are looking for a quick fix, there are plenty of ameture videos on sites like Youtube that can be accessed for free. You will learn how to record and edit your songs.

So why should you buy my courses, when you can learn online for free?

Sure, you can learn some things on other platforms, but there is something that separates a TRUE producer/musician from a self taught ameture, and that is the DETAILS! If you don't know the why's behind the how's, you aren't going to make it very far in life. What do I mean by that? Well, you can learn to export your files with a certain sample rate and bit depth, but WHY do you use those specific settings. The standard master format for audio today is 44.1k 16 bit. What is that? Well, that's why you should take music education seriously. Learning everything there is to know about a subject is what separates you from the rest of the crowd. It's what lands you the best gigs. If you have the same knowledge as the other guys, you are the same as the other guys! But, if you learn everything there is to know about Music Production for instance, you will run circles around those guys.

So what am I saying?

I am saying that your passions and desires are worth putting everything that you have towards learning all the details surrounding those things. It would be a horrible tragedy for you to just settle for basics, when you could excel above the rest within the subject matter of your choosing.

So, at the end of the day, YOU ARE WORTH IT! Don't settle for less than excellence. Don't settle for average, mediocre education.
