INTRODUCTION
ALESIS is a American company based in Rhode Island and founded in 1984. Keith Barr is who the founder of ALESIS STUDIO ELECTRONICS. Keith Barr designs integrated circuits and markets electronic musical instruments. He categorized of digital audio processors, mixers, audio interfaces, recording equipments, drum machines, pro audio as well as electronic percussions.
SURGE MESH KIT
For ALESIS DRUMS & PERCUSSIONS, it has Drum Kits, Multipads, Drum Machines, and Drum Modules. With their Drum Kits, they have more than 10 models and today I’m going to share one their their popular model which is SURGE MESH KIT.
With the model named with “Mesh” means Mesh Heads and about this model, is a 8 piece drum kit (electronic) that the snare, three tom pads and a kick tower pad are made of mesh.

The features are; 10” dual zone mesh pad is the snare, tom 1 / 2 / 3 are made with the size of 8”, 8” mesh kick with tower pad for the pedal, 10” hi-hat rubber cymbal and two 10” rubber cymbals (crash and ride) with choke function.
THE MODULE
The Surge module comes with backlit LCD SCREEN. The drum and cymbals layout of the kit are arranged based on traditional drum kit and is easier to assign the sounds as you wanted. There are 40 classic existing kit sounds and it can also create your own drum sounds.
IS NOT JUST A SIMPLE MODULE! It has extra features like “Play Along Music Track” that built in the learning features. Not just one or two tracks but there are 60 tracks!!

A USB and MIDI equipped for use with computer and mobile device so can hook up with any favorite MIDIs. A stereo input jack are readied to allow to play along favorite tracks from any sources.
