ROYAL HEADACHE - High (2015)

This is more of a garage rock or punk record, but it's also lofi and I think a little bit psych-y. Most of the songs actually seem like love songs. They're about a "she" and they use the word "love" a lot. You know, like most songs back in the day.

For reference, I think these guys sound like the Replacements or Hüsker Dü sometimes. If you were a fan of music from that era, I think you'll like this one.

I'll have to ask The Googles what their singer is up to now that the band is defunct because he's the perfect leader of a band. His delivery, in my opinion, is 100% perfect from the second this album starts, to a mere 29 minutes later when it concludes.

Royal Headache was an Australian punk rock and garage band from Sydney. The band was formed in 2008. The band is composed of Tim "Shogun" Wall (vocals), Lawrence "Law" Hall (guitar) and Gabrielle de Giorgio (keyboards, organ, percussion, vocals).[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

The band released two albums, Royal Headache (2012) and High (2015).

In June 2018, the band announced its dissolution via a post on their Facebook page.
