Serenade in the Würzburg Residence Garden ~ The Würzburg Mozart Festival 2018
Last night a special event took place in the beautiful garden behind the Würzburg Residence. Every year at one night of the Würzburg Mozart Festival - a festival which roots go back to 1919 - a beautiful serenade will be performed at this historical location. I went there with three nice girls and we enjoyed a wonderful relaxed evening sitting in the gras of the garden enjoying the sight of that amazing place and classic music. I am sorry, I cannot share the sund of the music but I can take you with us to at least show you that pretty part of my town. We were very lucky with the weather. Still at four a clock in the afternoon they didn't know yet if they could risk all the preparations because severe weather was everywhere around the reagion. And even during the concert there was a thunderstorm somewhere near. We could spot the strikes and hear the thunder ...
The music that was performed where the Mozart Serenade Nr. 13 G-Dur KV 525 »Eine kleine Nachtmusik«, the Benda Pygmalion and the Sinfonie Nr. 82 C-Dur Hob. I:82 »L’Ours« by Joseph Haydn.
