RE: Death Metal pals featured on BBC News
It’s a great video!
What a fantastic study too. Finally proving what a lot of people have known for years.
I’ve always felt safe in the company of fellow heavy metal fans and in my teens I went to lots of gigs on my own. I was always fascinated by the ‘mosh pits’ because of how they were surrounded by people making sure everyone was ok. If anyone fell, they stopped and helped them back up so they wouldn’t get stepped on.
Plus I love the music and find it relaxing to listen to!

Great point @radicalpears. Feeling comfortable in a community is the most important thing; whether it’s heavy metal, or Steem ;)
Death Metal musicians are always the most lovely considerate people. The stage performance is just theatre - underneath that they’re often intelligent and articulate.
Saying that, by some statistic, I’m sure there is a psycho killer out there who loves death metal. Equally there’s probably one who loves house music.
