Evans Pyramid - Never Gonna Leave You
This song is so incredible to me since it pulls the disco sound in a unique direction. The voices are more timid, there are no bombastic horn lines, no rallying drum breaks. The usual positive atmosphere is instead handled in a more yearning and uncertain manner. Let me know if you too find it easy to get lost in this song.

Early Music from about 30 years ago. These people became the mentors, guides and teachers to our generation and I have always looked up to them. However, it is always funny to see your respected peers as they were when they were much younger!

Two of Bay Area's finest: Del the Funky Homosapien (founder of underground Hip Hop group, Hieroglyphics) and Amp Live (one half of Zion I) combines to create one of the most anticipated collaboration albums this year for me.

Lusine - Drip (Apparat Remix)
Spastic lead synths and drums fade in and out of the stereo image in a way that is hard to grasp as a fellow producer, but the pads are in stark contrast from the frantic nearly IDM beat that develops from it. All of this and it is still very much playable in the hands of a quality DJ, no easy feat.
