This is the first time I hear about Vezt. I certainly will give it a check, since I really like the idea of co-funding music to support those with talent and without money, to try and stand out in the crowd. Music industry is hard and competitive, while the focus is one the little top of the pyramid, many with absolute great talent, never make it due to lack of funds and network.

You might be interested in checking out some of the other music-blockchain projects I had covered in this piece a while back...

Music On The Blockchain: Updates, Developments, And The Blossoming Ecosystem...

I know there’s also a few others that’ve popped up since: Choon, Emanate, InMusic, Audius, Opus, and TuneToken being a few...

Thanks, will check them out, bookmarked your post for later research. Thanks :)

Shouldn't we rather invest in meaningful music that portrays some kind of message?

Depends on one’s investment strategy.

Might be a good move philosophically*. Though probably not as profitable as Nicki’s ass... 🤣

That does make me think, though... how could an ISO be used as leverage to fund a song that is also part of some larger movement, bringing greater attention to it...?

That's true. The ass is mor profitable than philosophical thoughts.

I think it's a good idea for those who have artistic talent to support the blockchain music. It's a good investment.

Hah, that is pretty interesting. I guess good thing they were just playing the song in the McDonald's and not the video. Yikes! I had never heard about Vezt either. I just started following you though. Some of those artist sound made up :)
