Amederia is a Russian gothic doom/dark metal band from the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, founded by musicians Damir Galeev and Andrei Dolgikh in 2006.

Группа Amederia была основана в конце лета 2006 года. Первоначально она состояла из двух участников - Андрея Долгих и Дамира Галеева, а чуть позже команда пополнилась Ильнуром Гафаровым (который вслед за Дамиром ради нового проекта покинул группу "Grim Grave", в которой состоял до этого). Начались репетиции. Параллельно шли поиски остальных музыкантов, но с этим было туго. Кандидатам на свободные вакансии музыка Amederia казалась непривычной и непозволительно неформатной. Так прошло полгода, прежде чем основатели группы нашли двух девушек. Лиана и Гульназ изменили звучание команды еще сильнее, но это было не плохо, а совсем наоборот. Вначале подразумевалось, что Amederia будет играть классический funeral doom, но в итоге все пришло к тому, к чему пришло. Это можно услышать на первом альбоме 2008 года Sometimes We Have Wings.
