Московская метал-банда NeoliX была создана в 2012 году стараниями Александра Левина (вокал) и Максима Ехина (гитара). Как это часто бывает последнее время с молодыми (ну или относительно молодыми) музыкантами, они прекрасно понимали друг друга, но не могли объяснить постороннему человеку, к какому стилю относится их музыка. Было решено просто начать играть и записывать в надежде, что слушатели уж как-нибудь разберутся сами. Но чем больше группа играла, тем больше споров было вокруг ее творчества, а вернее вокруг обозначения выбранного музыкантами жанра. Одним экспертам слышался "тупо эпик хэви", другим мелодик дэт, третьим чистый индастриал. Но наиболее понятливые смекнули, что ничего чистого в творчестве NeoliX нет, и в этом собственно весь секрет. Но согласитесь, что так смешать стили - это тоже надо уметь.
Но поскольку работа обозревателя все-таки требует лаконичности и ясности определений (пусть даже ясность эта слегка притягивается за уши и намеренно отсекает немаловажные детали), мы будем называть эту музыку словом industrial. Ножами прошу не кидаться.
