Много ли вы знаете случаев, когда ролики deathcore банды на Ютубе набирают далеко за миллион просмотров, а топовый видос подбирается аж к четырем миллионам? Усложним задачу: группа относительно молодая, ей нет еще пяти лет, и... эта группа из России! Я, признаюсь, об этом раньше не знал (проклятая вкусовщина неизбежно порождает проблему не особо широкого кругозора). И тем не менее, несмотря на то, что дэткор - это решительно не мое, гордость за наших парней переполняет меня (надеюсь, что и вас тоже).
Откуда же такая популярность на Ютубе? Учитывая, что практически все комментарии к клипам там на английском, не нужно быть Шерлоком Холмсом, чтобы допетрить, что Slaughter To Prevail довольно популярна в США, и судя по всему, там она даже популярней, чем в России. В 2016 году группа подписала контракт с американским лейблом "Sumerian Records" и соответственно альбом 2017 года она выпустила, находясь там. На родине у команды попросту не было времени, чтобы завоевать зрительскую любовь. А завоевывать есть чем. Повторюсь, я не большой любитель дэткора, но вокальную технику и качество звучания (не только на альбоме, но и на концерте, что крайне важно) не оценить я не мог.
