One of the greatest music groups ever

Mabye I don't belong to the age when I could see Beatles live on the scene and be part of my dream, but I could listen to their music whole day long and realize that there is something nice and smooth in that music. To feel something extraordinary. To know what is real music. 

But, still I knew that I could never be in the sixties again to watch Beatles concert. To see their fans singing and dancing along the music, be so happy for what they have seen. I know that time is passing, but the music is long lasting. So, even now I have Beatles in my heart, in my head, in my blood.

And I have found something more!

"BESTBEAT" MUSIC GROUP

Last night in Belgrade I had a chance to see a music group from Belgrade. They are actually Beatles tribute bend. And yes, they are grate. They really made me feel like I am in the last century and I am listening to the real Beatles again. John Lennon was never shoot. Imagine! :)

The Bestbeat band consists of:

Vladimir Banovčanin as John Lennon, 

Damjan Dašić as Paul McCartney, 

Marko Ćalić as George Harrison 

and Vitomir Miličević as Ringo Starr.

They say they grew up with Beatles music, which came to them through plates and singles from parental collections. Later, they made their first musical steps playing with music from Beatles records, and the very idea of establishing the band was born in 2003. 

Then they met with the first tribe of groups from England and America and realized that, in a way, it was possible to play in their favorite band. They say that from the beginning they wanted to work seriously and earn the audience's favor.

COSTUMES TASKS

The performances of this band are specific in the way in which members of the band use faithful reproductions of costumes, hairstyles, instruments and amplifiers used by Beatles. 

The costumes they wear belong to the different stages through which famous Liverpool players passed through. "If we play songs from 1964, then we wear suits in which they performed with Ed Sullivan. If it's in 1965, these are Shea stadium costumes, and when we walk through songs from the 1967 album, then we are wearing uniforms with Sgt. Pepper  cover and so on. 

Most of the costumes in which we perform are made by the tailors of the National Theater and we are very grateful for their accuracy and dedication to detail. We spent a lot of time in analyzing collarbone, selecting trim, socks, and other seemingly less important things, but in the tribute band like ours, details are important, as they say.

IMITATING BEATLES

Members of the band say that they spent a lot of time watching the concerts and TV shows, taking Beatles moves and their style: "We had the idea that, if you are watching a concert from the half of the sale and you do not clearly see our faces, you get the impression of attending the concert of the original. 

This has helped us a lot, but also a criticism and suggestion of friends from the audience. In order to have whole visual experience complete, even though the bass player was right-handed, he learned to play the bass guitar with his left hand. 

It's important that you do not rush, then a parody comes up, and that's not our idea. All songs are played in original arrangements and tonalities, and after a few thousand reps, I can tell you it's getting pretty simple."

The US Newsweek magazine ranked The Bestbeat among thirty of the world's best Bitters tribute bands.

If you remember that the music of Beatles in Belgrade was made by the legendary Radivoj Korać and that it was later presented, played and written by many important people. It is a great honor for us to have an opportunity to show in our own way what Beatles represent to us."

I had an chance  to see their concert and I must say it was great. Energy I felt there was more than amazing. You can listen to them not only in Serbia, but across the whole world!
