White Winter Hymnal
Fleet Foxes hold a special place in my heart. I first fell in love with them on a drive back from playing a wake with a band I play with (The Button Collective) is was such a happy sad celebration of a folk music lover and filled my heart so completely. I cried all the way home listening and singing to their first two albums.

You have a very beautiful voice and much talent to be able to both sing and play the flute. Are you playing the guitar tracks as well?
The song is very emotional. It has a happy but somber tone to it. I think it's great! I'm sure it's hard to forget a song like this given the circumstances when you first heard it.

Beautifully performed, sounds like a simple folk music and song but there is a warmth that is spread once you listen to it. Love the velvet tone of your voice and your play Flute, I believe it is, sorry if I am wrong, I am not an expert in musical instrument although I love to listen and Flute is one of my favorite because of "Lord of the Dance" Musical. Thank you for sharing this beautiful music :)

My sis @zzuzza used to play flute when she was younger. Our neighbors once told us they wait till she starts practicing every evening as they can hear it and totally enjoy it. I'd be also waiting for you to start practicing :D Gr8 skillz!

What a beautiful song. You are such a great singer and flute player. I can imagine that you cried all the way home while listening to this music. It's so delicate, soft and simply beautiful.
Did you record all the voices yourself? And from which country is this folk music? It's interesting that folk music can be so emotional. In Slovakia is very cheerful, fast and makes you want to dance :)

From my understanding this is a modern american folk tune written by the fleet foxes. It certainly has that "old world" kid of vibe though.
